Clean Sinker EDM Machining Services

When cleanliness and precision are of the utmost importance and you can’t afford quality issues, our CleanSinker EDM machining process is the only way to go. Initially developed to make cervical and lumbar implants with porous material, this process allows us to machine precise, intricate porous metals keeping the delicate material completely intact. With traditional machining, tiny flakes can clog up the pores, keeping the material from performing the way it needs to.

Because CleanSinker EDM happens in water instead of oil like traditional Sinker EDM, parts don’t require any cleaning or finishing operations after they’re machined. And because we dry the parts immediately after machining in a special dehumidifying oven, you never have to worry about corrosion.
